5/15 Global Connections第1回「白浜レスキューネットワーク」で働くアメリカとインド出身の2人！

日本と世界の様々なテーマに目を向けるクリスチャンが、互いに学び合うオンラインイベントです。定期的にスペシャルゲストを迎え、TCUの学生・教員と、世界で活躍する卒業生やイベント参加者がつながります。

Zoomを使ってのオンラインイベントですので、どこにいても参加できます。TCUの雰囲気を感じたり、卒業生がどのように活躍しているのかを知る事ができます。誰でも歓迎です！

スペシャルゲスト：Ann Taylor（アメリカ） & Ching Khan Nem（インド）

Nem is from India, and Ann is from the USA. Nem and Ann both studied in the ACTS-ES program at TCU for four years. After graduating in 2019, Ann moved to Shirahama in Wakayama Prefecture to work at Shirahama Baptist Church and its NPO, Shirahama Rescue Network. Nem worked for one and a half years as a teacher at an English school before moving to Shirahama for work in 2020.
Shirahama Rescue Network helps people with various physical and emotional struggles, specifically focusing on those who are suicidal.
A day in the lives of Ann and Nem may include running the NPO’s bento shop, educating children and teaching English, serving at church, and taking care of people who come seeking help.
