Tokyo Christian University Approved to Start Ph.D. Program in 2014

In April 2014, Tokyo Christian University (TCU) will offer a Doctor of Philosophy in Theological Studies. TCU’s vision is to become a center of theological education and research in East Asia. Through its new Ph.D. program, TCU aims to train future leaders, teachers, and researchers who possess advanced theological expertise for grappling with issues in an increasingly complex and global church and society.
Tokyo Christian University Graduate School of Theology will accept applications from those who wish to pursue the Ph.D. degree in either Japanese or English, and who will possess a master’s degree (or the equivalent) in theological studies at the time of entrance into the program. Further details will soon be posted on TCU’s Japanese and English websites.
