About the Chairperson and President from April 2024

April 2, 2024

The Board of Directors of Tokyo Christian Institute would like to announce changes regarding the appointment of the Board Chairperson and President concurrently from April 1, 2024, as previously announced on August 30, 2023. Due to various circumstances, the Board of Directors of Tokyo Christian Institute has approved the resignation of Chairperson Masaru Asaoka and elected Shinichi Hirohashi as the new Chairperson as of April 1, 2024.

In addition, Professor Yoichi Yamaguchi will assume the position of Acting President until a new President is appointed.

Former Board Chairperson Masaru Asaoka will continue to teach at Tokyo Christian University as an adjunct faculty member after April 2024.
